compact reciprocating piston compressor. Single-axis motor first
drives the cranked axle to rotate, and with the transmission of the
connecting rod, the self-lubricating piston (added with no
lubricant) begins the reciprocation motion. Therefore, the working
volume enclosed by cylinder wall, cylinder head, and piston top
will start the cyclical variation. The piston of the piston
compressor starts the motion from cylinder head, and as a result
the working volume in the cylinder increases. At the time, air
pushes away the inlet valve along the inlet pipe to enter the
cylinder until the working volume reaches its maximization, and
then the inlet valve closes. When the piston do the backward
movement, the working volume of the cylinder reduces and air
pressure rises. The exhaust valve opens and the air exhausts from
the cylinder when air pressure in the cylinder is slightly higher
than the exhaust pressure. The exhaust valve won’t close until the
piston moves to the limiting position. When the piston starts the
backward movement again, the process above repeats. The working
process of the piston compressor is summarized as follows: cranked
axle rotates one circle; piston moves forward and backward once;
the processes of air intake, compression and exhaust are realized
accordingly. Given a rated speed, the design of single shaft with
two cylinders structure enables the compressor a double air flow
compared to single-cylinder structure. Meanwhile, the vibration
